Our Strory
Born from the personal experience of its founder Jocelyne Bastien, the young Canadian company Kokoala specializes in the creation of convenient, versatile and affordable accessories for pregnant women and new parents. Kokoala’s zip-in coat extensions facilitate outings with your baby and they are easy to adjust to your coat and baby carrier to keep both the baby and parent warm. These versatile coat extensions also allow the mother to keep her own jacket during her pregnancy. Kokoala’s goal is to allow parents to fully enjoy the time spent with their child, in all seasons, at a fraction of the cost of standard babywearing coats. The company is passionate about innovating in the parenting field and is always looking forward to offer young parents new and original products.
Kokoala’s products are designed and made in Canada. The company is proud to count among its employees people from a socio-professional integration program and to give them the opportunity to accomplish themselves as a part of Kokoala.
Kokoala wants to give a special thank to SAJE and Fondation Montreal Inc. for their support.
We invite you to watch a short video where founder Jocelyne Bastien talks about her motivations and what drove her to create Kokoala (video in French).
